Q: What is the best method to make a drip along the edge of a cake?
I have tried the canned frosting method and hated it. I have also done melted chocolate and it was a hassle. This last time, I colored the same buttercream that was on the cake, put it into squeeze containers, and melted it for 5-10 second intervals–and boom! So far, this is my favorite drip! J. Nichols
I would make a ganache with candy melts for bold colors and a cleaner drip or royal icing works. M. Bull
