Q: Sometimes butter bleeds from the bottom of one iced cookie to the icing on top of the other and causes the icing to bleed. How do I resolve this issue?
A: Keep cookies on a paper towel while they dry to help absorb any extra butter.
Stack iced cookies with parchment paper in between the cookies.
Put cookies on dry towels for a few hours before decorating to soak up any moisture/butter bleed on the bottom.
